Today begins the fasting cycle of the Triodion and Great Lent. Orthodox Christians now fast from all forms of meat until Holy Pascha!

My prayers are with you all, that the metanoia--change of mind and heart--that comes from the Lenten struggle will be strong for you this season.

May our great God and Savior Jesus Christ forgive us and have mercy upon us.

Please pray for me as well.
